Our office is located on Cape Cod on Route 28 in West Harwich.  The address is 72 Route 28, Suite 2, West Harwich, MA 02671-1112. We’re on the first floor in Suite 2.

William F. Cahalane, CPA, has been in practice for himself for over 40 years.  He has worked in public accounting and private practice.  Bill is dedicated to providing clients with practical and solid advisory, accounting, tax, planning and financial services which meet their unique objectives.

We welcome all our clients at our offices on the Cape, but Bill continues to see his corporate clients at their offices, as well.

Enrolled Agent, Masters in Taxation

Noreen is an enrolled agent with a Masters in Taxation from Bentley University.  She has Big 4 public accounting experience, as well as corporate and industry experience.

Noreen has been helping her father during the busy tax seasons for over 20 years while working full-time at other tax positions.  Now Noreen is working full-time with her father providing advisory, tax, accounting and consulting services to individuals and businesses.

Bill’s wife, Mary Lou Cahalane, works during the busy tax season.  Mary Lou may answer the phone when you call, or it could be any one of us.  Mary Lou is a retired Math Department Head, but she has taken a tax course and has learned about taxes from working for our firm for many tax seasons.  She is a very capable tax preparer.  Mary Lou is an Emmanuel College graduate where she majored in Math and minored in Physics.  She also has a Masters in Math and a Masters in Education from University of Massachusetts Lowell and Salem State University.  Mary Lou makes sure that we provide the best service to all of our clients.

Bill’s daughter, Maura L. Shield, CPA, works for our firm during the busy tax season.  Maura has an accounting degree from Boston College.  She has Big 4 public accounting experience, as well as industry experience.  She has been an assistant controller and controller at several companies.  Maura is a certified public accountant who retired from her full-time role, but helps us out during tax season.  She provides another set of eyes and expertise during the busy tax season.
